I hate the most programmer friendly office app, left from the "Where is <office app> forum series?". Does anyone if it is possible to turn off the grid lines for a selected range in excel?

I think if you fill in the cells with colour white (not transparant), then the grid lines don't show.

Remove all gridlines, put borders on every cell (similar to the gridlines), and remove them on your range. Yeah, I know, it's silly... Regards, João Paulo

I hate the most programmer friendly office app left from the Where is forum series. I took it to mean-- The only app left from the "where is..." forum post series is the "most programmer friendly office app" (namely Excel), which I hate. In Excel 2000, Tools -> Options -> View Tab: there is a Gridlines checkbox.
