Video Transmitters
-
I have a laptop connected to a projector via a 30m video cable. It's longer than recommended but it works. Anyway, I've beed told by the health and safety people that the video cable presents a safetly hazard. Anyone know what my options are? Are there video transmitters? I have a SCART TV transmitter, so is there a PC version? I could extend the video cable and feed it along the wall, but would I need amplifiers?

http://www.jvf.co.ukTape it down. :-D Seriously though, you could try extend it and feed it along the wall, try it first and if the signal is bad you can buy a booster. I don't think they're too expensive.
Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular. Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

http://www.jvf.co.ukI've seen a few ads for wireless LCD projectors, and I'm sure I've seen add-on modules for existing projectors, although I can't find it right now. I did find this however: http://www.panasonic.com/PBDS/subcat/Products/present/f_pt-l735ntu.html[^] David

It's fine for moving TV pictures, but to do it PC wise, I would have to PC video - SCART - Tx - Rx - composite-in. Wouldn't there be a drop in picture quality?
