      I personally think certifications are worthless as an alternative to a college degree. With that being said it really is all about what your motives are for getting the certification. If you are intrested in learning more about MS developing then by all means go for it. If you are thinking it is a quick way to boost your salary then you might want to think again.

        I did. :) One benefit it that it focuses you to study area about .NET that you may not have worked in. The projects you are on may direct you to only a few areas of focus.
