Can we have an RTF forum please? I'd like to ask the CP community if anyone knows a way of programmatically removing hidden text from an RTF document. Obviously this is a programming question so I don't want to ask it here in the lounge ;). Thanks. Gavin

Oh, this is a very common need, indeed, and people from paddedwall.org organized some very good RTF tutorials. You can probably find your answer here: http://www.paddedwall.org/help/ But next time, put it on one of the programming forums, normally you'll get a quicker answer there.

It's because the link is useful as hell. You see, normally this link is summoned when people put programming questions on The Lounge.

Yup, and so I noticed - I really had a great laugh the first few times, too :-D It has the characteristics of a disguised trip mine - if you'd know how often I accidentally ran into it.... :suss: Cheers Martin "Situation normal - all fu***d up" Illuminatus! http://www.martin-haesemeyer.de
