Yeah, I'm craving chicken, not "washed-up-model-with-fake-boobies".

My Dad said that when he was growing up his family raised chickens to help earn money (during great depression/WWII), and he had numerous chores assigned to him that dealt with the chickens. He claimed (I've never seen this myself) that the damn animals were so stupid you could hold press their heads to the ground, take you hand off, and the chicken would keep it's head to the ground like it was glued there, even starving to death. That's how they used to whack off their heads. Anyone know if this true, or experienced anything else like this? ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! I don't know if that is true, but my mom told me that when her grandmother would cut the head off of a chicken, its body would run around for a few minutes. One time, it even "chased" my mom around the yard. I think it scarred her childhood memories.

Cow are stupid enough to stand on railroad tracks, not move, get hit by a train. The rest of the herd will watch this, and then the next day do it again. This is why all the steam engines from the American West era have the iron-grate-triangle on the front - it's called a "cow catcher".

I never experienced your example, but we did raise chickens when I was young, and yes they do run around in circles when you chop their heads off. Their eys blink and mouth opens and closes too. Freaky. The roosters were the dumbest ones, but you had to watch your back with them or they would charge at you.

Yeah, well, whatever. Pass the ham. Adding "star power" to your misguided "cause" doens't make it better, it just makes the "star" look like an idiot. And anyone who thinks cows or chickens should be "saved" is an idiot and has never had the extreme displeasure of working with the Worlds Stupidest Animals (and no, I'm not talking about people, but they rank a close third).

One chick saves another. :) But she's probably onto something. It can't be good to pack many chickens into tiny spots, with little or no hygiene, feeding them with god knows what. Last time we humans did that to ourselves, two thirds (I think.. numbers anyone?) of Europe died in the plague. This over consumption of meat is going to backfire on us one day. It's just a matter of time. Until then, I'll try to eat as little as possible, and perhaps I'll live a bit longer. :) -- Yeah well, my daddy can beat up your daddy!
