I ordered an mp3 player, and it came yesterday. This gizmo is little bigger than the size of 2 AAA batteries. It came in a package the size of about 6 BIG shoe boxes. Did they run out of little ones or what? I think I might wrap the prezzy up in it :) Debbie

That happens to my roommate and I a lot too. Seems kindof wasteful for a company to do this but I don't mind. Big boxes are always nice to have around.:) Brad Jennings Sonork: 100.36360 AIM: hongg99

We once thought Dell had accidentally sent 1 extra server. Upon opening the box we found a thin little manual lying in a corner :~

Just don't mention packaging to me. Every year when I renew my MSDN subscription a thumping great parcel arrives enclosing a slightly smaller Microsoft Box, all I want out of that is the postcard sized piece of paper that has the registration code, the rest goes into the bin:mad: John Hudson Megan Forbes after having cage slightly rattled: Grrrrrrr....:baaaa!: humbug I say!:omg: JohnJ makes a note to wear protective clothing/goggles next time;P http://www.rainbow-innov.co.uk[^]

I used to have a fun prank like this on my sister as a kid. I'd buy a little present for her for Christmas, wrap it in a small box, then put that in a bigger box with wadded newspaper stuffing. Then I'd put that in a bigger box, and so on. So there'd be this big box under the tree for her about two weeks before Xmas and it would drive her crazy wondering what it could be. Then we'd open the presents and as she got down to unwrapping smaller and smaller boxes, she'd get more and more angry as the size of her "present" decreased . And I, of course, would be laughing harder and harder ;P. My folks finally made me stop after pulling this on her a couple of times (although my dad thought it was pretty damn funny too).
