      1. A demonstration of badly formatted HTML
      2. A geeky joke
      3. Art (for the geeks)
      4. A statement (saying, I've finally gotten rid of DOS - it's an empty drive!)

That's what I could come up with. -- They're out get me, I can't escape cos' they won't let me They won't forget me, they'll get me in their grip and sweat me They'll wait me out, and then move in under my skin They'll make me doubt, they're out to make me let them in

It is art :-) Or it is a demonstration of how every website is going to look like, once there is a patent on every byte of software. By the way.. I'm sure some guys will call the admin because an evil web site has opened a shell on their machines...

ive actually done almost that.. but it opened a dos session on the SERVER and used stdin/out to take input and generate output.. worked pretty nice actually , almost identical to a normal dos window.. (and yes , it was just for fun to see if it worked) //Roger

At first I thought it was kind of a cool example of 'extreme HTML' formatting possibilities. Then I realized they cheated and used a GIF! No self respecting command prompt guy would stoop to using an image.

My bet is that he thought he was typing in the "Run" dialog, but was actually typing in an IE window. :) -- They're out get me, I can't escape cos' they won't let me They won't forget me, they'll get me in their grip and sweat me They'll wait me out, and then move in under my skin They'll make me doubt, they're out to make me let them in
