You're asking a bunch of caffeen junkies if they've had filter coffee?! :-D Of course! There's some great coffee shops near the client's site where I am at the moment... Mmmmm coffeeeeeeee..... :-D

You reminded me, I was working on a customers site in Rotterdam, the coffee from the machine was crap, but the hot chocolate was superb and free, I was quickly addicted! I still have withdrawal symptoms.

My taste buds never grew up enough to appreciate much more than very milky coffee. I do enjoy tea, horlicks and hot chocolate at both work and home however. Also, do Starbucks Iced Mocha Fraps count as coffee? :-O

Fair enough. I just find tea, coffee and alcohol are pleasurable beverages. Saying that I am on week two of no tea or coffee. From 20 cups a day to 0. Third day was hell, had a headache the size of Alaska. All fine now, though I still look lovingly towards the kettle :-D *2 Sex is different of course, you always miss sex! More important question: Has anyone ever squeezed the filter (with the grounds) to get those last few drops of preciousness? not that i have of course, it's just a hypothetical question, i mean, anyone who would do that would be mad, although there could be awfully good reasons for doing something like that - why are you looking at me like that? i didnt say i did that! you're always attacking that which you dont understand - no, i'm not being defensive, alright, maybe i am being defensive... ;) Jeremy Kimball

Coffee isn't the most pleasant of tastes but is okay in very small doses. I drank rather a little too much of it in my youth 17-22 whilst working as a developer. It didn't do me a lot of good. I did 20 years without alcohol between the ages of 10 - 30. It does tend to depend on what you drink; personally I can't stand proper beer but can cope with the taste of lager.
