I'm going to a fancy-dress halloween party this weekend, and I'm completely stumped for ideas for a costume. Any suggestions? The missus suggested "Darth Maul" but that doesn't sound very Halloweeny to me :-)

You could wear nothing but roller skates and a plastic duck bill, and go out as a child's pull toy.:-D But seriously, one of the cutest I've seen was a guy dressed as a pregnant nun - easy costume to make, and it gets a lot of laughs. And, I'm happy to report that not even Catholics found it insulting. Another winner was a guy dressed one year as a ballerina, despite his hairy back, full beard, and beer belly. If I find the time, I plan to run amok Friday nite wearing my mountain man outfit - all authentic, handmade 1800's garb of deerskin, along with a fox-skin cap, tomahawk, and possibles bag. Unfortunately, the last time I looked I think the mocassins needed restitching, and I really don't have the time to do them right before Halloween. "Your village called -
    They're missing their idiot."

hehe, thanks. My friend was worried others might think her callous, but some support should help. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Miszou wrote: I have read the entire internet. on how boring his day was. Crikey! ain't life grand?

I am considering dressing up as a pirate. The trick is to do something to my costume to make it clear that I am a sotware pirate. :-D If your nose runs and your feet smell, then you're built upside down.

One more, dress as a vacuum cleaner and your wife can spend the entire evening telling everyone "my husband sucks" - or she can dress up as a dust bunny. Steve
