I think it's messing with my computer. When I switched it on, it tried to boot off the floppy drive, and only the floppy drive! I restarted the computer and it worked properly again. Either the radiation from the sun is messing with my motherboard, or I have evil gnomes in my computer. :~ Do you know anything about gnomes David Wulff? ;) -- I am of The Clan of Xymox. having a monopoly on almost the entire software industry means they have a monopoly on all the bugs in that software too. It's a two-edged sword. p.s. intermittent hardware problems are usually caused by loose wiring or slightly cracked solders. A rule of thumb is if it responds to getting smacked then it's probably something loose.
