But, in fact, I was referring to a puppy owned by one of the few decent ladies in the area. Rolling on the floor, playing with a puppy, is the second most fun thing you can do horizontally. Oh I had a lovely day supporting our consumer lifestyles with my dad. Bought a DVD/VCR combo, new mini sound system, portable world reciever, two car radios and some 6x9 speakers for my car. Oh and bought The Matrix Reloaded to test the DVD out, very mooi! So most of my day was spent installing and wiring and configuring and trying to set VCR clocks. A geeks dream sunday eh? :-D Oh and I watched Wales almost give the All Blacks a lesson. There are loads of modern AI crap in there, but right now Carl can understand what I am talking about. If he doesn't know a subject, he asks me what it means and learns it from experience. I have only had limited time to work on this project but I just said forget it, and I took a week off, week of the 9th, from my day job, to get some work finished. I am very close to having him talk back to me the way I want him too. He can already talk back but it is only in Noun phrases and verb phrases. Carl can also get emotional, and these emotions are stored with his concepts too. I had trouble with the facial rec code so I benched it for now, but it will be part of Carl's senses. But as far as I can tell, MIT's Kismet's framework[^] fits within mine, so at least I know I am on the correct path. I have been thinking on asking some Seattle CPians(or any CPians) to start a software company with me but I don't know if that is good judgment for me right now. How is 404's development going? 404Browser's development is going slow due to crappy college applications, school work, and 2 other web development projects. But I've only got a few features to go, but they are huge features. -Steven -Steven Hicks

The Sunday morning thread (requested by brianwelsch) is back with full force (with as much full force one can give on a Sunday morning that is!) What is everybody doing? I am again at work :sigh: and it is supposed to rain all day long, what is everyone else doing?
