I went to Outlook by force, cause of the upgrade of IE5.5 to IE6. But I agree, I always thought that it just did its job and left all the bells and whistles for others to screw up. :) Chris Meech It's much easier to get rich telling people what they want to hear. I could be mistaken, but as I recall the IE upgade, it nows includes Outlook instead of Outlook Express and additionally you couldn't configure the upgrade to not install Outlook. I'm sure all the pieces for OE are still lurking about though and would probably still work. :) Chris Meech It's much easier to get rich telling people what they want to hear. I still use Eudora 1.51. Sometimes the best things are the orignal ones.

I don't recall that at all. But then again, keeping track of Microsoft's comings and goings is one of my many weak points. All I've ever wanted was an honest week's pay for an honest day's work.

Don't know if I could bin it and if I did it would be toward Mozilla or Mozilla Thunderbird...but no Calendar..No Tasks...No Notes....No maybe not this week:-D John Hudson Megan Forbes after having cage slightly rattled: Grrrrrrr....:baaaa!: humbug I say!:omg: JohnJ makes a note to wear protective clothing/goggles next time;P http://www.rainbow-innov.co.uk[^]

I gave up Outlook about a month ago becase I got so much spam and Outlook couldn't seem to get its act together in removing it. I now use Mozilla as my email client, and it seems much better at removing spam. Up until now.... :~ :~

I installed IE6* without installing Outlook. It was only months later that I installed Outlook. * However, my version of IE6 is a 'customized' one from PCQuest, so you might be right after all. :~ Vikram.

Would be nice at times if parentheses were used as often in English as in Mathmatics, eh?
