Warning if you haven't seen the movie do not read this! | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | :wtf: Can anyone explain that ending? I just don't get it. So there is a peace between the machines now... all because Neo destroyed Smith. Was that an example of: the enemy of my enemy is my friend? Is there anyone that has seen it that would care to enlighten me?:confused::confused:

The architect said that anyone within the matrix would be freed IF they wanted to. How do they know there is anything to be freed from?

I'd already half-decided not to waste my money or time on the movie, and your opinion clinches it. Guess I'll wait for "Matrix: Discombobulations" or whatever other piece of crap the brothers come out with next time. Regards, Jeff Varszegi

You are unwilling to understand beyond the choices you make. ! Seriously though, I was intrigued with the way The Architect and Oracle talk about the peace and being skeptical how long it would last. :-) Another turning point , a fork stuck in the road . Time grabs you by the wrist , directs you where to go. So make the best of this test , and don't ask why. It's not a question , but a lesson learned in time . I agree, the ending sucked ass, there was no closure. They took their nice long time throughout the entire movie and then it was like POOF! Everything is over. I was left going ummmmmm

The robots let Neo destroy smith because he had the highest probability of stopping Smith before he infected the robots. The Architect wasn't happy because he is one of the robots and a deal is a deal. The matrix was probably rebooted or something and the Oracle restored? The are still some details from the ending that need some explanation, for certain. but overall I think it is a great movie. Very Philosophical.
