Yes, definitely, French Canadians have a whole host of food items that they make for christmas and my favorites are Tortiere (meat pie) and a sugary pie made from maple syrup. I used to work for a Pepsi bottler / distributor and one of the office guys was French Canadian and he took a huge list of orders every year near Christmas and would come back with the tastiest meat pies and sweet pies you ever tasted, he missed his calling in life, a guy who can bake stuff like that should never have been sitting at a desk in the Accounts Receivable department.
