The ultimate hacking machine
-
Hey Guys, While driving to work today i had this vision of the hacker's PC..a machine that could connect to any network and any device imaginable..that would have all the software necessary to break into systems and crack software.. So i was wondering if u could give suggestions about the possible configurations for such a machine.. For eg.. I was thinking that on the hardware front it would have to have a processor capable of running multiple kinds of OS'es including Mac OS .. and also it would need to have all kinds of interfaces and ports or atleast adapters to covert between them..it should be able to connect to various kind of networks..so any idea about the NIC's??...just give me some ideas..i might even build the thing :-D :-D Also on the software front it would have to multi OS..suggestions on which ones?..and have the most common compilers, debuggers, disassemblers etc...all the necesary docs about possible Exploits for various OS'es and software..password crackers and the likes.. What say??..any more ideas? int a=10000,b,c=2800,d,e,f[2801],g;main(){for(;b-c;)f[b++]=a/5;for(;d=0,g=c*2;c-=14,printf("%.4d",e+d/a),e=d%a)for(b=c;d+=f[b]*a,f[b]=d%--g,d/=g--,--b;d*=b);}
Also i think the machine (Any suggestions for a name??) :-D should be able to connect to the Net from anywhere in the world..so i guess it would have to use satellites..is this possbile? char *p="char *p=%c%s%c;main(){printf(p,34,p,34);}";main(){printf(p,34,p,34);} Hard work has a future payoff. Laziness pays off now.

So what do Device Driver Developers on other OS'es use.. I have no idea .. only have done device driver development on Windows, however I mainly use SoftICE for Masm debugging. As far as I know .. SoftICE4 is the most powerful debugger known to date (aka. It makes you God) hehe :-D Travis D. Mathison --- --- After three days without programming .. life becomes meaningless ...
Hey Cool :) :) Always wanted to write my own device driver..You know what they say "Real men write their own device drivers" :-D :-D.. Well so i got this bool Windows Driver Model,Microsoft Press...could you suggest anyonline references on writing win drivers.. Thanks.. char *p="char *p=%c%s%c;main(){printf(p,34,p,34);}";main(){printf(p,34,p,34);} Hard work has a future payoff. Laziness pays off now.

:-D :-D For that i would have to wait 10 yrs for the quantum matter tranfer port to be developed which would be able to tranfer matter by converting the quantum states of all atoms into 100101011010101010... :-D :-D :-D That would be really cool e-matter. "You have 2 new e-matters in your Inbox" :-D :-D char *p="char *p=%c%s%c;main(){printf(p,34,p,34);}";main(){printf(p,34,p,34);} Hard work has a future payoff. Laziness pays off now.

I have the Developing Windows NT Device Drivers: A Programmer's Handbook but most of the material I have gathered misc articles and material from all over the net .. cant think of a main site -- not my main gig though Travis D. Ok..one more thing is there and open Device Driver Layer specification kind of thing..you know like we have the OSI for Networking.. char *p="char *p=%c%s%c;main(){printf(p,34,p,34);}";main(){printf(p,34,p,34);} Hard work has a future payoff. Laziness pays off now.

Does size matter that much? It's all about technique :-D Tomasz Sowinski -- http://www.shooltz.com

Oops, I take that back. It would seem I am wrong. I kinow, the horror of it.

Most Defintely :) :) ..but i think SoftIce only works in windows..how about the other platforms..Solaris etc.. :) Hey does anyone know of a device that can plug into a cable and capture the data that is being transmitted?.. char *p="char *p=%c%s%c; main(){ printf(p,34,p,34);}";main(){printf(p,34,p,34); } Hard work has a future payoff. Laziness pays off now.
I think older versions of softice also work on DOS

Yes it's true. :(( I made a mistake. Hopefully though, the thread above this will soon push this one off into the enternal darkness of unread posts, meaning that only you, me and the other guy will ever know.

Well some things you'd need in order to accomplish that goal. * The fastest and largest possible array of same-instruction-set CPUs linked together to share tasks. * Some sort of communication device which is capable of both sending and receiving every type of signal imaginable (even smoke-signals :)). * A truly wonderful AI system that could figure out (decode) all the new protocols that would pop up. (Not to mention figuring out how to use all of that networking equipment in the first place. ;P) * So much spare time, that even David Wulff would be put to shame!!! ;) John
