Usually I don't care much about the "member status" in our profiles. There are bronze members, silver members and so on, and it got something to do with the number of articles and postings. But I can't stop wondering...what is the difference between "no status" and "bronze"? Does anyone know when or how a CPian changes from stateless to bronze?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I have the impression that the status is updated once a while with a hand-batch process.

AFAIK... you get your bronze status "at the beginning of the first 500 posts not the end" which means you should go from stateless to stateful when you post your first article or forum posting! :-D ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Shaun Austin: .NET Specialist. Yeah, I think "no status" ought to follow the pattern of metals of the other statuses... like, maybe, "Cheap imitation bronze", "Stainless Steel", or something. :-D No single raindrop believes that it is responsible for the flood.

When I view my own profile, it says: Status No status. Member No. 475133 Messages Posted 182 (while logged in) Articles Submitted 6 Why am I "no status"? Still don't get it :(
