We get letters like this one at the rate of two a week - does anyone else get them ? Gee Christian, that looks like too good a deal to miss out on ! The old adage if it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't true, holds fast here once again. I get a lot of SPAM about 80 msgs a day. And have recieved a few like that. Mine will probably come in the next day or so. :-) It's amazing how many so called knowledgable people fall for these "Scams" and reveal there bank account numbers to etc or post of an entrance fee to the "close confident" "Incredibly bad grammar etc. in your letter." Note he left two different phone numbers. If you want some fun call collect and speak Tasmanian to him.

Christian, I have received this email 5 years ago. I must admit for When I received it I thought all my bills and money problems are history. However, this did not last longer than 5 minutes. A simple search and reverse engineering the letter. gave me doubts about it. then, I found some materials about this letter in the FBI site. It was called the "The Nigerian Letter" The Change from Nigeria to South Africa is a poor atempt to breath life into this old scam. I can't find the FBI press release about it, however a search in msn should give you more links and information. http://www.eagle.ca/nigerianscam.html. lets be aware that just by calling it the naigerian or south-african letter does not mean it is originated from those countries. A simple look at the message received-from headers will give you the exact ip address. Last july 3 were arrested in Toronto in link to this scam. http://canadaonline.about.com/library/weekly/aa071401a.htm P.S. In the last five years I noticed that the name of the sender is usually of the same athnic and relegious background of the recepient. cheers

Yeah over the counter antibiotic sales are silly, so are online doctors, It's amazing the number of people who wish there MD/GP to prescribe antibiotics for viral infections also.
