After seeing Eastdragon's pics I thought it would be cool to start a thread where lots of people posted pics of where they live or grew up. Some pics of where I come from are here[^]. Most of the pictures are a little too urban for my liking but they were hard to come by. The most similar pic to home (where I grew up) would be the one of the Big Piney River, and I currently live about a mile from the Stonehenge in Rolla. I might have to take some forest pics to post next time I go home.:) Brad Jennings Sonork: 100.36360 AIM: hongg99

Great idea. I am not too keen on shots of Cape Town itself, but I have some photos from the surrounding areas. Harold Porter* is a botanical garden just up the coast. Also some snow photos from the mountains that I can see out of my window, about an hours drive. I have some others I should put up. * Come on, make the Harry Potter jokes, we all did :-D regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Brian Welsch wrote: "blah blah blah, maybe a potato?" while translating my Afrikaans. Yeah, I thought so too, but after paying closer attention I found that it hasn't been updated since yesterday... I should have noticed that it was dark, and out here, 18 kilometers from the city core, the sun is shining, making the perfect view from the office. From where I sit, I can see a lake where sheeps are wandering about, occassionally a deer is visiting. Quite nice, one day I will publish some pictures just to show off...
