[shudder] I remember getting mine yanked in the early 80's by an Army dentist. The first on he tried with dental pliers - he was pulling really hard, but he must have been squeezing the pliers too hard as well because suddenly I heard this loud *CRACK* and the dentists hand flew out of my mouth. He had stripped my tooth - I had tooth fragments all over the inside of my mouth. I remember wishing I could have gotten a general anaesthesia instead of a few lousy novacaine shots. He put the bloody pliers down on the little swiveling instrument table and picked up his drill - he drilled a couple holes into what was left of the tooth then he grabbed what looked like a cross between pliers and ice tongs. He used that implement to go into the holes he just drilled and then began pulling again - I swear I was lifted half out my seat before the tooth finally popped out of my mouth. All I could think was "1 down and 3 to go". To this day I have bad dreams where there is something in my mouth and I spit it out and it is a tooth fragment but there is never just one, no matter how many times I spit it out there are more tooth fragments. And they feel really small and uncomfortable and my thoughts in the dream are very stressed out because I know that they are teeth fragments and it must mean that all of my teeth are disintegrating. It is such a creepy and unsettling dream.

I still got all 4 and I'm 40. All I've ever wanted was an honest week's pay for an honest day's work.

It's called Tylenol 3. I got four wisdom teeth taken out a few months ago. Funny thing though, my Dad got his wishoem teeth taken out the same day I did. He just never bothered to get them taken out. Greba, My lack of content on my home page should be entertaining.

So does my Mom. It's weird how they never affect some people, and others have so many problems.

I've only ever used Tylenol 3, but it's rather annoying. The pain goes away, but you're so groggy and can't fall alseep.

I guess I'm the fortunate one. When I was a teenager back in the 60's and had braces, I had several teeth removed and my teeth straightened to accomadate for my wisdom teeth. During my twenties, all four came in and I've never had a problem with them. On the other hand, I have a deathly fear of dentists and haven't sat in a chair since my teen years (+30 years). For the last twenty years, I've been hearing that in ten years my teeth will all fall out, but I'm still waiting. Chris Meech It's much easier to get rich telling people what they want to hear. Chistopher Duncan I can't help getting older, but I refuse to grow up. Roger Wright I've been meaning to change my sig. Thanks! Alvaro Mendez
