At work I've been handed the task of being a tester for our website. The website searches through a database with different criteria. Was looking at in Monday and found a checkbox out in the middle of no where. You could check it but it apperared to have no effect on the results of the search. I reported this as a bug to the other developers. Monday comes along, and I'm told it's not a bug but a hidden feature, literally. This checkbox has value and does effect the search but is only needed by a few of our customers so the desicion was to offer it but to "hide" it. See the brilliance of this solution at: http://www.geocities.com/vengafoo/checkbox.jpg[^] Greba, My lack of content on my home page should be entertaining.

Possibly, considering the lack of documentation this issue will not have. Greba, My lack of content on my home page should be entertaining.

If anybody on my team came up with or implemented it, they'd be getting a visit to the woodshed. How professionals could even consider such a solution.... Well not CP effect. For any geocities site you have to copy the URL and paste it in the address bar otherwise it doesnot work.

Most geocities sites I equate with hotmail users - avoid at all costs. But I never noticed that the cut'n'paster doesn't work on them. "Your village called -
