HA! Vegemite is an Australian staple. And a good source of certain B group vitamins. Although I do suspect it's part of a great conspiracy. By getting kids hooked on yeast products from a very early age, it also makes it easier to introduce them to beer later.

Any sort of bread is good with veg, toasted or not. My preference is to do away with the bread altogether and just use a teaspoon.
