This is message from a disapointed, not to say pissed, European X-Box user. Again, Microsoft has lost the "Christmass" battle. It all starts from the new game Prince Of Persia, stuff of sands. At the moment, this is the only decent action game on Xbox besides SoulcaliburII. While stores are filled with PlayStation2-Prince Of Persia bundle, the Xbox version is not available... in Europe while it is on sold in the USA. Did Ms forgot non-US XBox users? Having an Xbox is like riding a Ferrari without fuel: great game console, almost no good titles. If I could go back in time (like in Prince Of Persia), I would definitely buy a PS2! According to Amazon, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Xbox) isn't available in the UK till March 2004. I guess you'll have to wait. It annoys me too that stuff is released in the US before the UK, never quiet understood why. Michael Snow is lying on the ground, and in the air the sleigh bells sound, The frosted patterned window panes, it's British summer time again. No, it's not, It's Christmas - Santa Claus in on the Dole (Spitting Image 1986)

If I may ask, does game playing becomes more interesting during the Christmas? Best regards, Paul. Jesus Christ is LOVE! Please tell somebody.

The advantage with an Xbox is that it can be chipped, this allows you to rent games, ftp them from the xbox to and pc, then ftp them back on to the xbox harddisk. Much better that a PS2

Get a chipped Xbox go to www.sharereactor.com and use eDonkey to download the game. To be fail this is the only way that manufactures will start to release software and games globally! look at the release of starwars dvd

This is a geek reply (don't take it bad). I don't think average user is going to mod it's xbox. Btw, you forgot that you can now run linux on it which makes the xbox the cheapest PC around. Jonathan de Halleux.

I couldn't agree more, owning both a ps2 and an xbox I find I have gotten into the habit of buying games that appear on all consoles on the xbox just so I will use the damned thing. True it does have a few good games that are only on xbox but as I type this I realize that the number is 2 Halo and Knights Of the Old Republic both of which are out on pc now anyway, xbox seems to be going the way of the dreamcast in that they are continually hyping up the next pile of crap into a brilliant game and then promising some really brilliant games soon. And all this talk of the xbox 2 doesn't fill me with confidence for the current system. All in all if the xbox 2 came out this year I wouldn't touch it with someone elses pay check. As for the ps2 I use it on an almost daily basis except for those rare occaisions when I really get dragged into an xbox or pc game. pseudonym67 Neural Dot Net Articles 1-11 Start Here Fuzzy Dot Net Articles 1-4 Start Here PathFinder Game Of Life 2 Life Wars

Well, Japan gets a lot of Nintendo games before the US. I assume this is because most of them are made in Japan and then translated for us. It's probably the same thing with Microsoft's game. And, it makes business sense. They make it here, so it sells here first to start bringing in money. Then, they'll work on other versions using the incoming money to pay the employees, etc. Jeremy Falcon

For what it's worth, read the side bar on this review. I understand internationalization of games takes a while, but I have no idea why the UK version wouldn't be released at the exact same time. I don't think the game has any elevators or flashlights in it ;).

I, for one, do not think the problem was that the band was down. I think that the problem may have been that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf.

If PoP and SCII are the only decent action games (which I disagree with) then why did you even get an Xbox? Or are most titles not released in the UK yet? Todd Smith

Because Microsoft should by the rights to distribute PoP on Xbox for Chritsmas! This is the kind of game that make you want to buy a console. Consoles are always about a few number of titles: nintendo has mario and link (zelda), ps2 has a loooot of titles and Xbox, well, not much! Jonathan de Halleux.
