A picture of the moon landing with Buzz Aldrin (I think) saluting, the waving flag, and 3/4 of the moon lander. -- Russell Morris Georgia Institute of Technology "WOW! Chocolate - half price!" - Homer Simpson, while in the land of chocolate.

I got this mental image of an old guy standing, facing the setting sun saluting. In the background, the moon is landing (wings, landing gear and all) on a nearby runway. Further off in the background is the american flag, waving. The only problem I'm having is where the lunar lander fits in. :) To hell with those thin-skinned pillow-biters. - Me, 10/03/2001

The blue is the standard blue for W2K. An orange background for your desktop? Ow - that's asking for a world of pain for your eyes ;) cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)

Aaahhhh, the joys of colour blindness. :-D I will fall back on this excuse to say I didn't know that it was the Windows 2000 standard blue. I have many collections from http://www.secondnaturecd.com . I prefer the art from the Impressionist time period, but there are some wonderful paintings by contemporary artists like Terry Redlin, Jack Sorenson, Nicky Boehme, Edgardo F. Garcia, and Alexander Chen. The problem with being a developer is that the art is always covered by my work. Brad Manske

I had a wallpaper of Pamela Anderson for awhile but my computer kept crashing with cryptic messages like "Silicone overload" or "BRAIN module not found". So I removed it. j/k Actually I was so stunned by an in game screenshot of the upcoming World of WarCraft that I put it up as my wallpaper. It is of a an Elven creature walking in a dry river bed with a willow overshadowing her as the moonlight dapples through. It is amazing stuff for an in game shot. I have to admit that I prefer nudity Something about a womens figure on a 2 dimensional screen which just puts me off. *shrugs* regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa "The greatest thing you will ever learn is to love, and be loved in return" - Moulin Rouge "In other words, the developer is dealing with an elephant, the accountant is dealing with a bunny rabbit." by Stan Shannon - 16/10/2001

I already have so many of them that I had to install a tool that changes my wallpaper every 15 minutes Yep, me too. Before I found out about Webshots (which I'm using at the moment) I wrote my own little app (Wallpaper Manager) to do it. At the time IT were crabby about installing freeware so it kept them happy because it was built in-house. ;P I never did get around to finishing it, but it still does some things that Webshots doesn't. I might well dust it off sometime and publish it as an article. Andy Metcalfe - Sonardyne International Ltd
