Does the DVI connection have a better picture quality?

Yes - it has much better quality. I highly recommend it, especially at a resolution of 1600x1200. That res on an LCD monitor really, really rocks ! The Ten Commandments For C Programmers

I was also tempted to buy that 20" Dell LCD, but I decided to pass on it. I had first learned about it on the AnandTech forums (here's the thread[^]) but after reading some of the replys, it sounds like some people are having problems with it.
