Yes it's true! We just called our ISP and asked about if we could upgrade to a faster connection and yes, sure they said. From when we were finished talking to our ISP in the phone it just took about 5 minutes and then we had a 2 Mbit/s connection! :) Rickard Andersson Here is my card, contact me later! No, not even that. We didn't had to pay for the upgrading! NOTHING! NADA! INGET! Before it cost 379 SEK/month and now 449 SEK/month. 449 is about $43. Rickard Andersson Here is my card, contact me later! UIN: 50302279 Sonork: 37318

I think they just alter a software cap to do that, for my Telco. Occasionally the controller seems to bust and I get an open flow. :-) Regardz Colin J Davies

I know someone that hacked his cable modem so rather than check what speed it should limit at from the ISP's server, it checked versus his. And of course his had a slightly different setting file :) Matt Newman If you chose to continue this discussion, I am fully prepared to make you my bitch. Yeah, but upstream is only 400 Kbit/s. But I can live with that. My FTP and HTTP visitors will still suffer. Rickard Andersson Here is my card, contact me later! UIN: 50302279 Sonork: 37318

I don't know how that would be possible with my ADSL setup, as its all purely hardware. Having said that, anything is possible. There are rumours that the Telco drops the cap to show users, what an uncapped flow would be like. Regardz Colin J Davies
