any place where I can get one of the later (stable, good) Winamp 2.x players? Couldn't find a "download previous versions" on their site anymore.

Try here: http://www.chip.pl/search.html[^] I know, it's in Polish - a small tip: 'Szukaj' means 'Search'. Or you can go straight here - http://download.chip.pl/download_63401.html[^] for Winamp 2.92 (pobierz = download) Their FTP server is quite heavily used, so try to download at night (Polish night :)). If you don't manage to find old Winamp, let me know - I'll upload it somewhere for you.

This is not an answer to your question but I thought I would just make sure you have tried Winamp 5 out first. Winamp 3 was atrocious. Winamp 4 did not exist but Winamp 5 is really quite good. It has replaced WMP9 on my machine. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Christopher Duncan quoted: "All Corvettes are red. Well, I just downloaded 5 and it doesn't seem to be bad. But looks like Pro is absolutely useless considering I can do all the things it says I can do with it already on my computer.

Yes, I've tried 5.01 Yes, after 2 days, I went back to "classic skins". Still, when starting it, it's graphics would not work correctly. There are some sublte differences which I'm not willing to get used to. I want my Winamp 2.x! I wont take Winamp 5! no! ;)
