Who can blame them? I mean, who wouldn't want to stake a claim on a big chunk of 98% ice and 2% barren rock? :) - Mike

I guess owning that much ice must be a big boon to bartenders and drink industry.. -- Gott weiß ich will kein Engel sein.

I was working on some software recently that dealt with postcodes and the Australian bit actually has its own postcode, just in case you want to send something there :-)

Heh, I should post something to an antarctic address to see if they actually deliver. And if they don't, I could sue them. Muhahahaha! Oh wait. Australia isn't the US. :sigh: -- Gott weiß ich will kein Engel sein.

If I'm remembering correctly there's even an ANZ ATM at the base there - though I can't imagine why they'd need cash there :) Rob Manderson **Paul Watson wrote:**What sense would you most dislike loosing?
