1 article less on the purgatory :-D Perl combines all the worst aspects of C and Lisp: a billion different sublanguages in one monolithic executable. It combines the power of C with the readability of PostScript. -- Jamie Zawinski

Daniel Turini wrote: purgatory I am glad that i am able to learn new words from time to time... :-D from Dictionary.com: n. A state or place of purification after death; according to the Roman Catholic creed, a place, or a state believed to exist after death, in which the souls of persons are purified by expiating such offenses committed in this life as do not merit eternal damnation, or in which they fully satisfy the justice of God for sins that have been forgiven. After this purgation from the impurities of sin, the souls are believed to be received into heaven. So in our context, is that the place where old articles goes? Weiye Chen When pursuing your dreams, don't forget to enjoy your life...

In a very simplified way, the Purgatory is a "mini-hell", just before you go to heaven. :) I was referring to this. Articles that receive lots of low votes go there, before they go to hell or heaven :) Perl combines all the worst aspects of C and Lisp: a billion different sublanguages in one monolithic executable.
