Default Browser Home Page
-
For years I've always started my web browsing through the run command on the start bar as it was only a few key clicks away. Now I've installed XP I've started using IE from the icon in the bottom left hand corner of the task tray. This change has led me to see my default browser home page more often. (www.msn.co.uk). This has started me wondering, what does everybody else use as their default web page? I think I'll change mine to CodeProject as this site is the one I tend to go for first when I start my daily browse. Michael :-)
Custom bookmarks.html page which opens links in new windows. It's much faster than using the favorites menu and I can use the same page on any system with ease.

Speed up your internet connection with VMTU
Variable Maximum Transfer Unit, or VMTU is an algorithm for negotiating the packet sizes passed from your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your Internet TCP connection. The connection speed does not increase; the throughput of the modem is improved.

Chris, Maybe a survey to see why Folk don't have CP as a home page, This should be important for you ! One reason why I have CP as my homepage is, I support CP and believe another hit on CP isn't at all bad for your pocket, and hopefully you'll reinvest some of this in CP. Someone suggested a while ago having CP as a miling address for members, Could you run an honest system where application for the address is reliant on having CP as a home page ? Ouch more late nights, :-) Regardz Colin J Davies P.S I need beta testers for VMTU.

At work I had meet-an-inmate.com, some of the girls photos and bios are just hilarious. But that got old so I changed to codeproject, seeing as it's the only site I read daily.
