        Nah. The dB scale is logarithmic, so a jet is ten times louder.

              Yes, you are right. I just calculated it to be ~3.0103 dB per double intensity. I wonder where I got the double per 10 dB from. :~ Do you know of any other physical phenomenon that behaves in that way? :rolleyes: -- Gott weiß ich will kein Engel sein.
