I have been deluged with spam lately as I am sure all of you have also. Most of this spam isn’t even intelligible. Look here[^] for the latest US Congressional Bill to get passed. GWB is expected to sign this bill when it gets to his desk. How can it be profitable to send millions of people the same dozen emails that can’t even be understood? I just don’t see the logic behind this. Can anyone enlighten me? Will this law really lighten the load? How can the US enforce spam from other contries? Check your user agent string. I had avant browser installed some time ago, and it changed my user agent string. Eventhough uninstalled avant browser, the IE registry keys which it modified, remained modified. And a week or two ago, Chris (or someone else) changed the user agent parser.. Can't remember the name of the registry key, but I figure you'll find it. :) -- Gott weiß ich will kein Engel sein.

"Back problems" and "chiropractor" are as spinal as it gets, is it not?

                        chiropractic
n : a method of treatment that manipulates body structures
(especially the spine) to relieve low back pain or even
                        headache or high blood pressure

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform Thanks for the tip :) The first thing I did was look at the UA setting in Group Policy, but nothing was set there, so I didn't think it was the UA string at first. Then you mentioned Avant (which I have installed) and I went registry-diving. ;) Ah... back in good ol' IE. I got a second monitor for my dev machine, and I had to lift it from the floor to my desk. I lifted the proper way (with the knees, not bending over at the waist) so I don't know what exactly caused the injury. --Mike-- Personal stuff:: Ericahist Updated Feb 6! | Homepage Shareware stuff:: 1ClickPicGrabber | RightClick-Encrypt CP stuff:: CP SearchBar v2.0.2 You cannot stop me with paramecium alone!
