Here in sunny Sydney we have just started Daylight Savings (put the clock forward one hour). I think it's great as I get an extra hour of daylight after work and on weekends. :-D Michael Martin Pegasystems Pty Ltd Australia martm@pegasystems.com +61 413-004-018 "Don't belong. Never join. Stop it stop it STOP IT :)!!! You're making me go all green and jealous. Here in the UK we've just moved the clocks back an hour so we get an extra hour of darkness and a load of crap weather to boot. Oh well.... no more outdoor activites for me (at least after next weekend anyway, I'm off to the Lakes). -- Andrew.

Hello, here in Canada, we changed our time to use winter time ( I'm not sure how we say in engish ). Did you change also where you're living ? What do you think about ? Stephane

We set our clocks back here in sunny California. That means the sun comes up earlier which means more time for my morning MTB rides. Woot! It also means it's colder in the morning. ^Woot!

We did in the UK too, and I think it is a bloddy stupid idea. Now I must drive home in almost complete darkness* rather than musty daytime. I understnad why the famers need more light in the mornings, but honestly - can't they just get up earlier? * the council removed all the street lights after some residents started sacrificing sheep to them. Okay, forget the asterisked sentence, but I meant the first part...

Indiana does not have daylight savings time. We just swing back and forth between Eastern Time (Winter) and Central Time (Summer). "But, daddy, that was back in the hippie ages..." According to my Little Oxford Dictionary: Woot /whoo-oot/ n. Small device used in anal stimulation to enduce excretement. Wooting a. The act of excreting enduced by a woot. The mind boggles.

I think they could have come up with a better word for that than "woot". Doctor: "Nurse, we have to induce excrement. Get me a woot." Nurse: "A what?" Doctor: "Woot." Nurse: "Are you making fun of my Canadian heritage?" Doctor: "What?" Nurse: "You wanted a what"? Doctor: "No, a woot." Nurse: "A woot." Doctor: "What?" Nurse: "What?" Doctor: "A WOOT! Here, hold this open..." (points to patient's butt hole) "...the staggering layers of obcenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001

Hello, here in Canada, we changed our time to use winter time ( I'm not sure how we say in engish ). Did you change also where you're living ? What do you think about ? Stephane

Yep, the UK has just gone back to "normal" time (i.e. GMT). No more of this "British Summertime" nonsense for another year. :) Andy Metcalfe - Sonardyne International Ltd
