So I guess your alter ego in the computer world satisfies itself by playing games for relaxation. What's everyone playing? I tried Max Payne recently and must say, though it's fairly one dimensional, the graphics are jaw-droppingly gorgeous. On the same note, I must say I also tried NOLF (No One Lives Forever) and found that it wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. Most gaming magazines almost called it similar to Half-Life. Hah! I don't think so. Anyone played NOLF yet? What are your views? "Sunlight: that which makes a monitor difficult to see" - Valve.

Alas I have not spent the neccesary cash on 3D graphics cards to stay up to date. But if I had I would love to try out Anarchy Online right now. Sounds like good fun. I might just buy a 3D card though expressly for the upcoming World Of Warcraft which sounds, and looks, stunning. A few games I have tried out though on friends PC's lately are Serious Sam (kick ass fun, reminds me of Doom days) as well as Max Payne (seriously cool, slick game. made me feel like an action hero from a movie!). right now I am downloading Worms World Party to get a heady mix of Sheep Bombs and Kamikazie back into my system :) regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa "The greatest thing you will ever learn is to love, and be loved in return" - Moulin Rouge "In other words, the developer is dealing with an elephant, the accountant is dealing with a bunny rabbit." by Stan Shannon - 16/10/2001

I have an ATI Radeon 8500 on order. It won't ship until 11/8. I still have time to change my mind and get an nVidia Ti500... Decisions, decisions... "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001

I am playing Alpha Centauri and Revenant at the moment. I am in a cash crunch and so I'm playing and finishing all the old games that I never got around to finishing. I also play Freespace2 and Baldur's Gate often. "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. I know it's kind of dated, but I am still playing Unreal Tournament online. I've gotten pretty good at it lately too. I also play Quake III Arena but it's kind of lame compared to Unreal. I guess I need to get over to EB or Software etc. and get something new :) Brigg Thorp Software Engineer Timex Corporation

Unreal Tournament is still my favourite. Every Wednesday I get to kill a few work mates. NOLF was pretty good but I'm not too keen on the sneak about missions. I prefer a good fight to all that sneaking around. Michael :-)

I have not played the new Worms World Party. I am from the old school "huddle around one computer" Worm playing community ;) You are dead right though. No other game so effectively encourages you to find the funniest, biggest and most ludicrous way of revenging the death of one of your worms. Hence why I die laughing every time I use kamikazie. for Monty Python and the Holy Grail ? :omg: that must be funny. I think just for that reason alone I will go and get a copy of Worms World Party and try out the Holy Grail theme Monty Python and revenge killing worms... wooohooo! regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa "The greatest thing you will ever learn is to love, and be loved in return" - Moulin Rouge "In other words, the developer is dealing with an elephant, the accountant is dealing with a bunny rabbit." by Stan Shannon - 16/10/2001

We created the Holy Grail sound set, if you get WWP LMK if I can email it to you or FTP it somewhere. Christian After all, there's nothing wrong with an elite as long as I'm allowed to be part of it!! - Mike Burston Oct 23, 2001

                    1. Can I go multiplayer on my LAN? 2) Do I have to buy a copy of the program for each player, or will it let me do it with only one copy? "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001

1/ You sure can 2/ Strictly speaking each copy requires the CD, so that depends on if you're asking a licencing question or a 'can I burn a copy and it will work' question. You also need to download a patch before it will work over the Internet. It's a half price game, and I only found one copy in Hobart, I intend for us to buy a few copies over time so we stop using burnt ones. I guarentee every player will get their monies worth.
