The other day my 11 year old son was involved in a fight. I heard a commotion so I looked out the window to see my son on the ground, a bigger kid "putting the boots to him". When I ran out the door I saw a policewoman watching the fight. She happened to be the mother of the boot putter. I voiced my concerns, she wrote my son a ticket for assult, I ripped it up and threw it in the air, she took my away in hancuffs. I was charged with littering.(All the pieces landed in my yard). Wish me luck!

I am getting the impression that I am being taken as a fool. I am not. This happened. I am just asking if anyone else has had a similar expirience,

No, but I'll tell you this - if you don't have witnesses who will come forward and tell what they saw (assuming it would benefit you), you don't have a prayer. It sucks but that's the way it is. Abuse of power under color of authority is more common than most think.

If she really took you away in handcuffs for littering then you really ARE living in a Police State. Well, let's see... The last post of yours that i remember reading was a blanket accusation that CP users were snobs. It was a bad way of introducing yourself. And you've chosen to follow it up with a tale that, while not unbelieveable, is uncommon for most of us. It seems fishy... like you've been fishing. Possibly, you just have horribly bad social skills, even by programmer standards. But as the old saying goes, if it walks like a troll and writes like a troll, then it very well might be a duck. troll.

Easier said than done. I live in Montana, I don't want to move. The deal here is a small town thing, that don't make it any less than it is though.

They didn't want him. they wanted me. They have been trying for a long time to "put me down". I made the mistake of reffering to them as Nazis one day in court. They are dead set on making me pay. Welcome to America, land of the "free".

Joe, it's not a good idea to kick a police officer in the ass. Unless, of course, she's your masochistic lover. -- Gott weiß ich will kein Engel sein.

Any possibility that the entire town was placing bets on who would be first to kick your son's ass? I'd be willing to bet that you aren't from that town originally. The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism, but under then name of Liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program until one day America will be a Socialist nation without knowing how it happened. - Norman Thomas, Socialist Party Presidential candidate
