I'm Back

Hi All! I'm back from an awesome 3 weeks in SA. Sun, time in Kruger Park, white water rafting, walks, more sun and good SA food have left me feeling refreshed and looking rather more healthy than the others in the office around me this morning :) . What's been happening while I was away? Nothing too interesting I hope . I do hope the lounge will be busy today - MSN on my work pc seems to be bust and refuses to be coaxed back into life :((. It's going to be a long first day back... :sigh: For those who asked, a few of the photo's I took can be found here[^].

Meg's World - Blog PhotographyWelcome back. I envy you your return to your home - it's been too long since I was back where I come from :) Being into food might I ask for a few SA recipes? If I can get the ingredients here I'd love to shock my family with something they've never thought of :) Rob Manderson **Paul Watson wrote:**What sense would you most dislike loosing? It always feels too long though - we landed on Saturday, and despite all the advantages of being here (for now, not permanently) we are already counting down to our return  Rob Manderson wrote: Being into food might I ask for a few SA recipes? Thanks, you certainly may :-O Mazdak wrote: And how did you pictured that lion? With great difficulty! He appeared out of the veld with almost no notice. It's incredible how well they can hide. I took that on the widest angle, with my car window only open enough to allow my lens to poke through :-D. He was walking pretty briskly almost right passed us, which is why the grass in the background is rather blurred - I had to pan through the window just to keep him in the viewfinder. I guess that's why I love wildlife photography so much - nothing poses for you, and if you don't capture the beauty the moment it presents itself, it'll be lost forever :)

http://www.briandela.com/rss/newsrss.xml RSS FeedThanks Brian :) I was lucky with the waterfall- the sky was a beautiful blue, and the sun was beating down. Usually this would make conditions impossible, but a neutral density + polarising filter saved me, and I was lucky enough to capture the colours of the day, as well as slowing down the water flow. Oh man, I think I should be back there...

Meg's World - Blog PhotographyHi Megan! I've no idea what's been happening, as I'm still in Thailand (I fly back tomorrow for face the grotty weather). :| I've discovered a few things out here this time - not least that I can still do manic dancing, play pool, I look OK in a bikini (and don't sink like a stone!) and even that I'm not afraid to try pole dancing... The last week has certainly been interesting! Anna :rose: Homepage | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up. Meg's World - Blog PhotographyGreat to hear you enjoyed your visit. As always, your pictures are beautiful. Some that immediately caught my eye were the powerful lion close up, Blyde River Canyon, and the reflection from your sunglasses. Looks like a great trip, Meg. BW CP Member Homepages
