Ok, this program showed up in my system32 directory and Zone Alarms trapped it trying to talk to my dns server. Anybody have any ideas what it is? Google only turned on some hits in a language I can't read (.no? Norway?) that's it. I'm current on Ad-aware and Symantec AV. Thanks Gang, Nick This are my own opinions. You know the rest.....

That's odd. The Google search I ran returned a site in China. It's probably some sort of spyware/adware that you can safely block (or better, delete). Heard in Bullhead City - "You haven't lost your girl -

What I would do: :bob: Go to regedit and do a search for "zzb.exe" or "zzb" and see if it shows up anywhere, you might be able to figure out what it is or how it's being used. :bob: Try renaming it to, say, "zzb.bob" and see what breaks. If nothing breaks, then you can probably nuke it at your leisure. :bob: You may have done this, but you can right-click, "Properties" and see if there is any version info. If there is not, I'd be a little suspicious, most OS components for instance have all that info. "I'd be up a piece if I hadn't swallowed my bishop." Mr. Ed, playing chess
