My wife gave birth to our first child yesterday (Feb 25th) at 12:45PM after ... gulp ... 25 hours of labour! In the end, she had no choice but to opt for a caesarean. Just as well, 'cos the baby is a big 'un - 9lbs 6oz (4.25Kg). Ouch! Welcome to the world Ellie Caldecott! I am over the moon and when she was delivered, I cried like a girl. Right, gotta go - lots to do! http://www.robert.caldecott.btinternet.co.uk/photos/proud_dad.jpg http://www.robert.caldecott.btinternet.co.uk/photos/ellie1.jpg http://www.robert.caldecott.btinternet.co.uk/photos/ellie2.jpg

Congrats! And as for all the sleep comments... Remember, there is a chance that she'll be sleeping through the night by the first week. (luckily mine did *knocks on wood*) ~Nitron.

My wife gave birth to our first child yesterday (Feb 25th) at 12:45PM after ... gulp ... 25 hours of labour! In the end, she had no choice but to opt for a caesarean. Just as well, 'cos the baby is a big 'un - 9lbs 6oz (4.25Kg). Ouch! Welcome to the world Ellie Caldecott! I am over the moon and when she was delivered, I cried like a girl. Right, gotta go - lots to do! http://www.robert.caldecott.btinternet.co.uk/photos/proud_dad.jpg http://www.robert.caldecott.btinternet.co.uk/photos/ellie1.jpg http://www.robert.caldecott.btinternet.co.uk/photos/ellie2.jpg
