OK - we really need in-forum polls here. :sigh: How's the site's speed this afternoon. 1 for slow, 5 for fast. The new DB server hasn't caught fire yet, but the one we've got paired to cluster up with it looks like it's backing away in fear. C'mere little server...this won't hurt...much. cheers, Chris Maunder

I rated it a 4. Mostly fast, with occasional stalls whilst switching between msg boards. --Mike-- Personal stuff:: Ericahist | Homepage Shareware stuff:: 1ClickPicGrabber | RightClick-Encrypt CP stuff:: CP SearchBar v2.0.2 | C++ Forum FAQ ---- Kosh reminded me of some of the prima-donna programmers I've worked with. 4.5 Only because I've know it to run faster than this for me. Wonder why that is ? :-D Nothing is foolproof for a sufficiently talented fool - Heard on CP

It's been about average. Sometimes replying to a post seems to take an inordinately long time though. Remember, even if you win the rat race, you're still a rat.

I'd say 2~3 at the moment. Not as slow as last night/yesterday, but not as quick as it's been at times recently.

Like eating fluffy pancakes and you haven't enough maple syrup. mostly a pleasure, but occassionally a dry slice needs extra chewing to get down. :) BW CP Member Homepages

the site seems faster today than usual. The front page still takes a bit to load, but came up faster than normal.
