What's your favorite place to get empty DVD cases in bulk? Clam Shells? What would you consider to be a "good price" per case? Thanks! -- Edward Livingston (aka ExtraLean) -- "I still maintain that seeing a nipple is far less disturbing than seeing someone get their brains blown out." -- Chris Maunder

Strangely enough, the rubbish skip out the back of any Blockbuster :) I have no idea why they throw so many away but the one up the street from me is always throwing DVD cases out. You the man, Rob!! I saw your post and went down to Blockbuster; checked out the bin; too nasty; went inside and just asked and they handed me about 50 DVD cases! Thanks! I just got a box of 100 from MyCableShop[^] They were the cheapest I could find. I got the ones that hold two DVD's. I regularly buy stuff from them without any problems. Drew.

No stickers or anything. 1 of the cases had the word Blockbuster etched in the plastic, but the others were blank. All are in pristine shape. ExtraLean wrote: What did you say to them (how did you ask them) when you went inside? Actually, I had Krista go in :) I got excited when I read Rob's first email and didn't read it carefully so I was thinking we were going to look for CD jewel cases. So she went in and asked if they had any CD jewel cases they were going to throw away. They said "no", but that they had DVD cases that were going in the bin that night and they asked her how many she wanted. That was it. Cheers, Tom Archer "Use what talents you possess. Thought you might get a kick out of this. Yesterday I went back to the Blockbuster and they gave me about 50 more cases. When I got home I discovered they had inadvertently given me a free movie[^]!! Not exactly ROTK, but it's free :) Cheers, Tom Archer "Use what talents you possess. Lucky bastard!!! :) Best I've ever managed (apart from the free cases) are the odd paper insert inside the case, you know, the one that lists chapters.
