Sorry for abusing the lounge, but if you're not a native Swedish speaker, then please look upon this as a great opportunity to learn a wonderful foreign word... ;P Here we go: I want to know the English counterpart for the Swedish word "slamkrypare", when used as in "something in disguise" or "not exactly the first thing that came to my mind". Don't ask why, I just need the word, and Lexin[^] wasn't helpful at all, for once. :) -- Dad, how strange it is that the pig can speak.
*thoughtful pause* It must have lost its "oink".
(my 3-year old daughter Moa, while watching Babe) Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability
to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable
for their apparent disinclination to do so. (Douglas Adams)

Huh? Give me a full Swedish phrase and/or sentence as a sample please. I don't think I understand the context in which you use the word slamkrypare. :) Johann Gerell wrote: Don't ask why, I just need the word, "mud crawler"? :-D -- Ich steig dir nach..
