What tv show makes you..

laugh out loud, loudly and uncontrollably, preferably with tears running down your cheek from laughing? For me it's Absolutely Fabulous hands down. Nothing else on TV is as funny, but "Arrested Development" and "The Office" are a close second. P.S. If you don't have a tv or you don't think anything is funny, start your own thread.

I am so much removed from their target audience (Male, 36, semi-conservative etc) but I find it hysterically funny. Patsy has the absoulute best lines of any sidekick I can think of.

John Cardinal wrote: Never heard of Kath and Kim, have to check it out Lots of luck! Amazon don't list it being available on DVD but it is, in region 4 PAL only, not for sale outside of Australia. Nonetheless I have my copies, laboriously re-encoded to NTSC :) Rob Manderson Colin Davies wrote: I'm sure Americans could use more of it, and thus reduce the world supply faster. > > Never heard of Kath and Kim, have to check it out > Wouldn't bother. Stick with what you know; Fawlty Towers is 17 million times better than Kath and Kim. Shame there is so little good programming here in NZ... almost worth getting Sky for the UK channel... Cheers, Jon

Seriously? Tears running down your cheeks laughing out loud, possibly rolling on the floor? Or just the funniest thing out of many things you watch, but not necessarily ROTFLYAO? (Admittedly I've only ever watched about 2 minutes of it once by accident as I avoid any medical related show like the plague.)

Yes! I did see CYE a couple of times, but then had trouble finding it as it was shuffled and then forgot about it. Very funny in similar ways to Arrested Development.

Can't stand AbFab. Utterly painful. Like standing in amongst blind people playing racquetball. While drunk. Arrested Development rocks. Never seen "The Office", but have heard of it a lot... usually with globs of Dilbert and Office Space comparisons thrown in and debated hotly. Although both have been cancelled, re-runs of "The Family Guy" and "Futurama" both still make me laugh, as does "Seinfeld". Neither "Jerry Springer" nor "Reality" -style shows are funny. But both will send tears (bitter ones, born of depression and frustration) cascading down my face when i'm trapped in front of them, so i guess they sort of count. How do you move in a world of fog, That's always changing things? Makes me wish that i could be a dog, When i see the price that you pay.
