Wow! What a difference. The last picture I saw of you was you playing pool with your long hair all over the place. You looked like the front man for Winger or Ratt or something. You actually look professional now! :) Regards, Brigg Thorp Software Engineer Timex Corporation
 Yeah. I'm doing more consulting and training now and had to finally lose the "hair band" look :) Cheers, Tom Archer "Use what talents you possess. David Crosby, circa 1969... Yup, I did it. Hacked off all my flowing locks today. After spending the day yesterday in 90°F heat trying to guide a wildly vibrating, heavy paint sprayer over my head for 4 hours painting my house I decided that long hair was just too much trouble. I still feel a bit weird without that extra half-pound of weight on my head, but I'll get over it. I'm still undecided whether I should wear it with a part or without, but my barber tells me that most men today don't part their hair. What do you think? Part it, or just comb it back in a blow-and-go look? Will Build Nuclear Missile For Food - No Target Too Small

Mine is combed back - but I also have not cut my hair in close to 8 years. With the amount that ends up in the sink each morning - it won't be long until nature takes care of the "hair cut" for me..:( Steve

I can tell you that no comb has touched my hair in the past 5 years. I prefer short and messy style, besides I'm still in my twenties :) However, I still see many ppl part their hair, young and old. So, do whatever you feel like (or whatever the easiest ;)). Edbert P. Sydney, Australia.

Parting is definitely out. Short and spiky [^]is in. Cheers, Tom Archer "Use what talents you possess. I much preferred the pool shark photo in your bio, Tom, but the new look does add a measure of respectability to your appearance. Will Build Nuclear Missile For Food - No Target Too Small

I think guys look pretty cool with shaved heads. If your head is the right shape, a bald head can look quite imposing. (Think Lex Luthor.)

Roger Wright wrote: Part it, or just comb it back Comb it back, until it's long again. Short hair is only for lazy guys who are to tired to use a comb in the morning.

Roger Wright wrote: What do you think? Part it, or just comb it back in a blow-and-go look? Depends on what image you want. Comb it back for one weekend and then try the part for the next. After you see what response you get from others, you will know, even if it you do not care what response you get. Now after having mine short enough for 6 months that I do not need a comb I can say I do prefer it that way. The mustach would be next but my wife has threated that is too far. :)

Cut it so short you don't need to comb it. That is what I do *says Paul pushing his hair back behind his ears* Haven't cut my hair in 6 months, very weird feeling. Guess I had better go short again before I see Lena, maybe I should go as a skinhead eh? ;) regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Christopher Duncan quoted: "...that would require my explaining Einstein's Fear of Relatives" Crikey! ain't life grand? Good idea "Hi Lena! Have not seen you for 6 months and we have only known each other in the flesh for three days and two nights, do you mind cutting my hair because I am too cheap to use a barber? Ta luv." :P Plus she has a temper, so not sure I want her near me with scissors or shears :-D regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Christopher Duncan quoted: "...that would require my explaining Einstein's Fear of Relatives" Crikey! ain't life grand? I'm telling ya Roger, from my own experience, parting your hair is definitely out. Also, the longhaired thing is over with too. It was ok in the 70's, 80's, and even early 90's. Some people can still pull it off, but for the most part it's gone now. And remember, if you have a manly face, short hair will help bring that out. Too much hair will hide it. Also, one other thing people don't want to admit, but it's the truth. Getting in shape is a great way to help with the ladies (for many reasons). :) Think about it. You'll have a nice body, and it'll help change your attitude about yourself. Women love men with confidence - just don't go overboard with it! Now get out there you sexy devil and knock 'em dead! :) Jeremy Falcon
