*shog basks in the balmy 34°F weather here in Sunny La Crosse* How do you move in a world of fog, That's always changing things? Makes me wish that i could be a dog, When i see the price that you pay.

Just hit 100°F here for the first time this year. Actually, I have two thermometers on the porch - one reads 99.5, the other 101.7, so I'll take the value of 100 as close enough for misery's sake. Travellers tired of the cold make your plans to visit now. I can get you really good room rates in July & August (for obvious reasons)! ;P Will Build Nuclear Missile For Food - No Target Too Small

I'll take it! I spent all day in a slushy snowstorm, including an hour laying in it waiting to be "rescued" (training). Nobody found me though.:sigh: Now I'm off to get changed out of this wet uniform. X|

When I was out in Madrid all the Spaniards thought I was mad because I loved the sunshine so much and I was very happy waiting in the sun for a bus while they all tried to get under the shelter for shade. The thermometer (they are obsessed with them in Spain) read 43ºC (==109.4ºF) and I though that was just fantastic. So, what's the normal temperature in July/August?

The 'monsoons' start in July and run 6 - 12 weeks, bringing humidity tha falls just short of actual rain. July 4th we hold a contest to fry two eggs on the sidewalk in under fifteen minutes. Someone always wins...:sigh: Personally, I think they taste better cooked on the hood of my truck. Will Build Nuclear Missile For Food - No Target Too Small

It is snowing here. It seldom gets over 90 F.

Equinox is behind us, the little green leaf buds are opening, and England is finally seeing temps above 10 celsius

Although it dipped down below freezing here in South Carolina last night, and again tonight, the dogwoods are in full bloom all over town. I took a drive into the foothills yesterday afternoon to admire them and found some peach orchards ripe with blossom already too. Then I passed by the cows frolicking, and horses neighing gaily, and the llamas looking aloof and content. And children played ball, and the.... well you get the picture. I had a pleasant ride. :-D BW CP Member Homepages
