    R.I.P. Britains ugliest building[^] I grew up in a town not too far from there - and this building was every bit as bad as it sounds - if Hell was made out of concrete, then The Tricorn would be Cocytus. I have to say I was quite pleased, watching the demolition work start on the news last night :-D

    I quite like many plain, austere concrete buildings, but this is UGLY My blog.

        It's a good thing that these 70's monstrosities all need pulling down about now. Concrete only has a life of about 25 years! Eventually they will all be gone, yippeeee!:-D Ant.
