They are offering songs at incredible prices. I don't see how this could be legal. :wtf:

I think the answer to that is self evident, but as a double check, I searched for Metallica on there. All Metallica's albums are on there, as well as well known bootleg shows that are not legally for sale anywhere. Metallica don't let their songs sell as mp3, so it's pretty much a foregone conclusion - these people are thieves. cue a thread on how downloading mp3's is wrong, but I'll just add that I've bought several CD's recently as a result of downloading mp3s, and that IMO file 'sharing' is a big step below setting up a site and selling stuff you've pirated. Christian I have drunk the cool-aid and found it wan and bitter. - Chris Maunder

How does a band make it illegal for their work to be encoded to a medium or in this case file format? It is like Metallica saying they won't sell CDs but you can buy vinyls and 8-tracks of their music, anything else is illegal. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Christopher Duncan quoted: "...that would require my explaining Einstein's Fear of Relatives" Crikey! ain't life grand? A band as big as Metallica gets no say in how their music is distributed ? I doubt it. And Metallica are violently anti mp3, doncha know ? I've checked with the legal mp3 sites and none carry Metallica songs. Christian I have drunk the cool-aid and found it wan and bitter. - Chris Maunder
