Internet giant AOL has ratcheted up the war against unsolicited e-mail with a publicity-grabbing coup - an online raffle of a spammer's seized Porsche.[^]

I think that the SPAM people (ie, the meat company, not the annoying gits) should buy the Porsche and turn it into SPAM cans, like that Heineken advert :-) Or give it to me :-D

They got a Porsche spamming? :omg: :wtf: This had the opposite effect on me: I'll start spamming today! Ian Darling wrote: should buy the Porsche and turn it into SPAM cans That's a great idea. Here's another: Why not fill the porsche with Spam (meat) and get the Tate Modern to display it. Once the meat starts to go off and become a little rancid I'm sure it'll win the Turner Prize as well.

Yeah, but how many other spammers have a Porsche? And that's all that happened to them? Lost the Porsche that they wouldn't otherwise have? If someone went to TV and tell that now the law will be hard: if you rob someone and get caught you won’t go to jail anymore: you’ll have to return the loot! What would happen?
