You know I heard that Microsoft is going to release its source code and give away all its money to poor countries. Ahhh Jeeeez. Needs work doesn't it?

But who could ever forget, the 1972 release of Signetics' Write-Only Memory (WOM) pg1[^] and WOM pg2[^]?:-D [EDIT] I found more information on the actual development process behind creating the WOM - a turning point in the evolution of computers as we know them today. This is a report on the R & D[^] that went into creating the product, prepared in 1973 from the developers' lab notes. A most remarkable achievement! What date is it? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/3588933.stm[^]
Apart from the date and the 1GB limit - are we all sure this is a hoax? Isn't Google offering a webmail service actually a really good idea (how many people loathe hotmail, yahoo mail, etc.). It seems like a weird April Fool joke 'cos so many people will actually be disappointed if it isn't true! It's not like the joke I heard on the radio this morning about Yorkshire water changing their supply to "diet tap water"! Or the Slashdot story about using carrier-pigeons to carry bandwidth!

The RFC for IP over carrier-pigeon has been around for years... :) Stormblade www.torrentstorm.com

When I came into the office this morning it was more like "Unhappy Headless Chicken Day"...
