Are there some standard templates in use for putting down concepts, software design, coding progress, and testing?

There are different methods for the software development process, most having their own suggested ways of doing things. A google for "software methodology" would probably give some examples. Personally, I like to use my own document formats, the ones that fit they way I work rather than some University defined methodology. A good start for a functional specification document is here[^]. You might also find some other useful ideas on the site Michael But you know when the truth is told, That you can get what you want or you can just get old, Your're going to kick off before you even get halfway through.
