Is there any money in writting a book for programming? I figure prolly not cuz there are so many programming books available...but say if you came up with a unique idea, how much do authors of good computer books typically pull in a year...? Cheers :) How do I print my voice mail?

If you are doing it for the money, then you are doing it for the wrong reason. Whilst there is very little money made on the book sales. A good book and a good understanding of the subject can lead to consulting work as well as a chance to speak at conferences and the like. Writing that article was really nice of Scott Meyers. I'm glad to see he did it. Jeremy Falcon
