RAM is fine, I have tested it in several motherboards with no problems. As for onboards chips and the CPU, they're second hand so could be all kinds of crap. Downloaded the manual from Gigabyte before plugging any cables in. They were in the correct spots. The motherboard LED's didn't light up but the CPU fan did power up and the HDD LED on the front panel was working. I didn't get a weekend, thankfully, as I finally have a job (of sorts). But I did manage to sneak out for a karate lesson with my favorite little girl on Thursday, then took her fishing[^] on Friday. Saturday was rather dull, but Sunday I had a blast hosting an Easter Egg hunt for about 300 kids at a local park. Today I'll be picking up my first actual paycheck in far too long.:) Some people think of it as a six-pack; I consider it more of a support group.
